Hello!! and an update!

I am embarrassed and a little frustrated with myself for taking so very long to post something here. If you have reached out to me please forgive the lack of a response, it has no reflection on you whatsoever, but it helps me see just how overwhelmed with stress and worry I have been.

To say nothing of coping with day to day life. My 2 youngest children are still in school. My daughter is in 11th grade and my son is in 6th grade. We also have a son who is 20 and living at home with us. I have felt that I was just drowning. Besides the health problems I have been having – I have caught every communicable disease/flu/cold that my kiddos have brought home from school.
and on top of it all – everyone still needs a moderately clean environment to live in, clean clothes to wear and food to eat – oh, they always want to eat!!

A shout out to my wonderful husband who has handled SO much of this for me when I couldn’t!! Oh, He is a keeper!!!

My life was also blessed/taken over by a call from the Lord to work with the Young Women in the youth group at our church. 16 beautiful girls, my own daughter included – planning weekly activities for them, Sunday lessons for them, and occasional weekend trips and a week long camping trip this Summer. I work with 3 other amazingly talented ladies but there is much work and service to be done by all of us. This happened in mid December – I really felt like the Lord needed me to serve with them so I said yes when I was asked.

There have been happy things – Christmas, 29th wedding anniversary  a new grandchild was born, lots of time spent taking care of my 3 cute granddaughters (the pic above is a darling play-doh emoji made by my very creative oldest granddaughter!)  and now finally a diagnosis of a healthy heart.

Some blood pressure problems and Diabetes seem to be at the root of my fainting. I am looking forward to figuring out how to feel better. I have been 50 to 60 pounds overweight the last 10 years, at least. I will be taking some nutrition classes and changing my eating styles and I have already lost 7 pounds in the last 10 days.

I share all of this with you because of the friendships I have made with many of you and for the thoughtful concerns and queries that have been sent my way.

Have a wonderful day – you all will be the first to know when I find myself back blogging. I do miss it but my life seems to have continued on without it SO I do have a decision to make and I just don’t feel ready or in the right mindset to make  one right now.

Love – Taunya Butler

Not Sure What to Say

Hello, long time, no see!

That is my fault not yours!! And unfortunately I can’t really say when I will be back.

Life has been stressful for me and I have not been able to decide what to do!

I have not really crafted since before I fell – the bird card you see on facebook was done in the end of October and never blogged about!!

Here is a pic of it:

I have experienced some questions about my health and currently we are looking into heart troubles!

I apologize for not knowing when I will come back – but life feels to uncertain to me at this time and the idea of blogging and commenting again causes me SO much stress!! And Stress is what we are trying to avoid!

I appreciate you all so much and want to thank you for your friendships!

Take care and please forgive if I have not responded to something from you – My laptop died and I was out of the computer business for a while! Hugs to you!!!!

An Update

Hello to all you beautiful people!!

Just wanted to let you know that I am still here and that I am doing better!!

On Halloween day I went in my craft room to get something and fainted – hitting my head hard on my craft table as I went down!! I also somehow knocked the wind out of me as well! I have suffered memory loss – I cannot remember most of that day – can only tell you what others have informed me happened!!

I do not know when I will be returning yet as I am still still healing and searching for answers to my health questions!! One thing I know for sure is that I will  not be blogging during this busy Holiday season!! I am readying my Christmas cards to go out so look for snail mail soon!

Love and Thanks to you all!!

Have a wonderful and beautiful Sunday!!!

Stepping Away for 10 Days

Hello there, to ALL you awesome people!!!

Thank you for your friendship and support!!

I have had some health issues lately and I have been more stressed than I needed to be!! I am stepping away from the computer for the next 10 days – until September 30th!!

I am going to be severely limiting my computer time – SO except for already written and scheduled Design Team posts I will not be posting for the next while – I also WILL NOT be commenting on your blogs, please don’t take it personally –  the time I do spend on screen will be limited to just checking emails!!

I am excited for when I return though, because —

with the month of October comes my 4 YEAR BLOGAVERSARY!!

So I will be resting up and preparing for that !!

I have twice weekly giveaways planned (that makes 8) and 3 Grand Prizes for the whole month’s activities!!

I will be posting on September 29th all the details that you will need to have to participate and celebrate this exciting achievement with me!! One thing that I would love is if you help spread the word and let people know about this – getting to 100 followers would be a SUPER BIG DREAM COME TRUE for me!!! Thanks!!

One of the things that I will be focusing on besides getting prepared for the Blogaversary celebration is catching up on sending out Happy Mail – so I have that to look forward to, as well!!

Please know that I cherish all the friendships I have with you and that when I return I hope to be BETTER than ever!! Thanks for your understanding!!!

Great BIG hugs to you & Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!!

WRMK Envelope Punch Board WINNER!!!

Hey there, all my friends – I am so sorry to be taking so LONG announcing my winner – I have been so distracted with all these people around me and there just haven’t been too many quiet moments!!!

But I did put the numbers in to Random.org and the WINNER of the WRMK Envelope Punch Board is…..

Please email me,  Sue and I will get your prize mailed out to you soon!!

And I promise to show you details of all the fun things I made for my Retreat buddies SOON but until then here is a picture of the Welcome basket I presented everyone with when they arrived!!!

I will give you details later – It might take me til Sunday to get a good blog post written with all the MANY pictures I have of all the goodies!! One thing I did different this year is I made a  Love Notes kit for each person and encouraged all to write notes to each other and place them in the mailboxes I had created for them!! An example of what they look like  is the gable box above with the slit cut in the top with my name banner across the front of it!!  So excited to share the details!!

Hope you Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!
