BLOGAVERSARY Cards Received # 2

I feel like I need to give some information to you!! This is really hard to share with you – but I am dealing with a serious bout of Depression – it has just been a struggle to do anything this last few weeks!! Most of what I have been posting and doing with my BLOGAVERSARY was done ahead during my break!! I want you to know that I am ok, but I really am having a hard time!! It has not been this bad for a long time! I WANT to be my cheerful, encouraging self but I just am really not able to find the strength and energy to do many of the things I love to do – crafting, blogging about it, and visiting your blogs and leaving the comments  that I normally do (to say nothing of laundry, keeping up the house, meals etc)!!! Please know that I will do the best I can and I will hope that is enough!!

I will continue on with my Blogaversary because it was planned and scheduled ahead of time!!

But I cannot guarantee what else I will be able to do above that!! SO SORRY!!!

With that – HERE are the cards I received this week – Some of you sweet people sent me a little something too!! I want you to know I APPRECIATE each and EVERY one of you!!!

First card came from Monika Reeck of the blog Creative with Monika

She was inspired by the flowers and the rainbow colors!!!

Hello, Taunya! So sorry you are suffering with this. Unfortunately I know about it all too well. Just take one day at a time and keep putting one foot in front of the other – keep going! There will be a light at the end of this dark tunnel for you, Taunya, and you will start feeling better again. Please know that your friends are here for you whenever you you need us. So glad my card arrived and hope it brought you some cheer. And I loved seeing everyone else’s cards – you have a lot of people who care about you, my friend! Remember that! Feel better!

Hi Taunya! First off: happy bloggingversary!!! You are the sweetest girl, so the next thing I have to say is this: be as kind, sweet, generous, and caring to YOU as you are to all the rest of us who LOve your darling comments, and visits! Depression is not fun, been there. I know you will come out on the sunny side of life shortly because we are all keeping you in our thoughts and prayers…

Tuanya, sending hugs and positive vibes to you as you weather this bout of turbulent seas. Don’t ever feel that you’re letting us – or anybody – down. We’re here from you every day, be they sunny or cloudy. Hopefully, the cards you’re receiving will cheer you up. Many of us understand the hold depression can take…and we need to believe that ‘this too, shall pass.’ One thing that has helped: vitamin D. If you can get out in the sunshine, that’s the best source. Know we care about and love you deeply!
    Hugs~c

Hi Taunya, I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through as I am well aware of how depression can rear up and smack you in the face without warning. I hope that you’re under medical care and using medications that help you, but in the meantime, take care of yourself and cut yourself a lot of slack. We all appreciate whatever you want to share with us and completely understand that you need to take care of other things right now. Hang in there and here’s hoping brightness returns to you days again. Hugs!

My dear Taunya, you come across as such a happy person, I am so sorry you are suffering with depression. It is something that I take tablets for so I can sympathise. I am glad you scheduled your blog anniversary as it takes the pressure off a little. Sending love and hugs and most of all saying a prayer for you xx

    Mendi Yoshikawa says:

My sweet Taunya… I am sooo sorry you’ve been feeling extra blue this past month. :( I definitely have my periods of feeling that way myself so you’re not alone in this. I will be praying for you through this. Please know how many people love you out here. I hope you can get out of the house with some local friends and have a girls day out. I know as a stay at home Mom with a husband who travels often and friends that get busy, I struggle with often feeling isolated and alone. I don’t know if that’s the case for you too. Joining a Bible study to get out of the house has helped, as well as getting better sleep and a nice light to help trick my brain. I also visited a Naturopath and tested all my serotonin and a long list of other neurotransmitters to see what supplements may best counterbalance my shortages. I obviously don’t have all the answers or I wouldn’t struggle with it too, but I just wanted to let you know that I love you and I’m over here in Washington thinking of you. Big hugs! :)
