Well I knew you loved daisies but I didn’t know about gingerbread men – they are so cute – what a great thing to collect and display at Christmas! I think you know mine (I think everybody knows mine!) – it is cats! Luckily Brian loves cats too so he doesn’t mind at all. I’ve already won a lovely prize from you so if my number comes up, please draw for someone else. You are so generous with the giveaways!

You might have read on my blog that I’m on a blog break now until mid-December. But I’m going to finish commenting on the Hop to Stop cards. It is an important and very personal issue to me. Your purple ice cream card is super adorable – I love it! I’m sitting here wondering what it would taste like – I think I’m hungry! Have a good day, my friend, and thank you for caring about domestic violence awareness and for your support of the hop!

What a sweet little package! What a GRAPE cone! lol! : )
I love kitties! >^.^< It's probably a good thing I can't have any live ones in my condo or I'd be a crazy cat lady – tho some would argue that I am one because of my collection. hahaha! I also love and collect gorgeous butterflies – fell in love with them when I lived in South America – Sooo many delightful colors!

Dragonflies, fairies and mushrooms!!! Love them all

I love this purple ice cream card of yours! It’s terrific! I love that great color! Today’s question is tricky–there are a lot of little things I “collect.” I LOVE owls and black cats, of course, and have a little collection here and there. But probably the thing I really collect and LOVE the most, is elephants! They must have their trunks up too, because that is where the “luck” is! I used to live in Asia, and elephants are important there. At our wedding, we had tiny silver elephants that held the place cards and were our wedding favor. When I went to grad school at the University of Alabama, our mascot is an elephant! So now we have elephants in our house in different ways!

Thanks for sponsoring another great prize day for your Blogaversary!
    Take care!

My favorite thing, actually is multiple things. I love the great outdoors and we collect bear figures, But I equally love the ocean and have blue everything in my house/ RV. Lately I love collecting stamps from Unity and verve. They are so inspiring and I love the different bible verses. I have so many favorites I could be here all day trying to find one thing but one thing I’m not good at is choosing!!!!!

I used to collect crystal which we still have many of, however, when the crafting became more of an obsession it was and still is stamps.
Stamps has been my number one love to purchase and they are closely followed by different inks/paints, my recent obsession is stencils too. But I always love having new stamps – there is something about them that creatively excites me and I love getting new stamps. I was lucky enough to win a blog hop recently and I’ve some new TH stamps and so looking forward to playing with them. I love all of my different items of crafty stash but I do have a weakness for them stamps lol! Take care huni xx

Have been fond of & collected many things. Use to collect Barbies. I donated a lot to Salvation Army & Goodwill when I cleaned out a rental storage unit this past weekend & yesterday. I no longer collect Barbies. I’m fond of Pandas & Snoopy/Woodstock. I collect Snoopy/Woodstock Christmas outdoor decor.

I’m so ready to dive into a purple ice cream cone right now! What a fabulous card and again, how sweet you are to support this incredibly worthwhile cause! Your daisies and gingerbread collections: how wonderful. How YOU! As for me: our townhouse is very, very small, so collections are a bit challenging to manage, but I have two: angels and Noah’s arks. Back when I had a house, I had a lovely wide-range of Noah’s Arks items, including a wooden ark that was surrounded by pairs of little animals. I didn’t have the space to keep it, so I gave it away to a friend who was expecting a baby. I still have the wind chime (it hangs on the wall next to our stairs), my cross-stitch pictures that I made (about four at my place and a few more at mom’s), a trivet on the stove, a couple of dish towels, some little images in frames, a Christmas tree decoration…and a few more. It’s amazing the treasures I’ve found. When I win the lottery and buy a new house, I’m going to add to my collections.. Love my angels; love my Noah’s Arks….

What a beautiful card for such a worthwhile cause! I love the different shades of purple supplies you used! Especially the shear purple ribbon. The ice cream cone is just delightful!
I seem to go through fits and spurts with collecting things. I guess the one enduring theme has been travel related stuff. I collect magnets and postcards on trips. I love maps and globes!🌎 I have quite a few Paris themed items.🗼 One of my favorite things is a vintage suitcase that belonged to my great-grandmother and which I have converted into storage for some of my craft supplies. So many of my best days were spent traveling and I love being reminded of places I’ve visited or that I hope to one day see.

    Indy says:

Oh I love so many things! I currently have a problem with coffee-themed craft supplies! I constantly have to make myself sit on my hands, so I don’t push the purchase button on my computer! I don’t even drink that much coffee, but I want to own it all! As for other collectibles, I have really reduced what I collect because 9 years ago we downsized our house, and we simply don’t have room for them. I used to collect Boyd’s Bear statues and M&M figurines. Now I pretty much limit myself to crafty items–I do like to buy kitty stamp images! I just love my cats! (Once I outgrown my craft room, I will have to weed out my supplies.)
Thanks for such interesting questions! Debbie

    P.S. I had 53 fabulous conferences!

Love that purple ice cream cone….which would be very refreshing right now since it’s about 80 degrees…ugh. Thank you for supporting the Hop to Stop as well, and spreading the word. What do I love and collect? Well, once upon a time it used to be rescued rabbits (which we had neutered)…and cats, ha! But now it would be rubber (and cling) stamps. Oh, I just cannot resist a new stamp set and they seem to multiply almost as fast as rabbits! Thank you for your fun giveaways and have a great week!

I have collected so many things, badgers; jugs; TY beanie babies ; mugs; At the moment embossing folders are a growing collection. At least they don’t take up too much room.

  18. 18
    Vicki says:

Well like many others and especially those of us who like to craft, I have many mini collections. I won’t call my embossing folders, stamps, inks, and dies a collection because they are my “tools”. I can justify those. Hee hee!!

I collect gingerbread for Christmas and my whole kitchen is stuffed with them in every shape and size!! My daughter makes me all kinds of little cuties. I think they are oh so adorable!! I will post a picture after I decorated for this year. Fall/Halloween just finished going up today!!
I have also downsized and have a lower income so I enjoy my mini collections that I already have such as oriental décor, glass ( old glass), and bears and dolls. I don’t even go into a thrift store anymore! I have rarely found a piece of glass I don’t think needs me to save it!

While I was very active as a volunteer for Girl Scouts I used to collect patches and what we called “swaps” (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere). While I still volunteer for the Girl Scouts I am not as avid a collector as I used to be. Craft-wise my favorite things to collect are dies. Love them and I use them on almost every card I make.

Awesome card for a great cause. Love the color. One of my favs.

  22. 22

Love your card! My favorites… I have lots… but right now Owls are a big favorite of mine… my scrap room is full of them.. and the rest of the house they are scattered also… I love all birds of pray really… but my favorite… owls. Then of course there’s the paper and stamps… many of which have owls on them :) … thanks for asking!

What a fun post and a pretty purple card! :-) I so love that ice cream cone!
My “thing” outside of stamps (blushing) is books! When I was younger I’d spend all my saved money at the bookstore when my mom took us to the mall! I still have a problem and have such a stack for my “to be read” pile! I like them so much, I even enjoy writing my own! :-)
    Congrats on your blogaversary! :-)

Cute, cute card today, Taunya! I collect Santas. I especially love Santas from other countries. I even have one from the Czech Republic, which is one of my favorites. Congratulations on your blogaversary, and I hope you have a fabulous week.

    Denise Ferguson says:

I haven’t collected anything else since I began papercrafting. I just love adding to my “store” of supplies in my craft room. I really need to get disciplined and force myself to use what I have before buying more, but I don’t know if even Dr. Phil could help me! Oh well, at least it’s legal, and like I say, “It’s achival — It’ll be there when I get to it!” Thank for your inspirations! Keep up the good work & Happy, happy anniversary!

As Christmas is a most festive celebration all over the world! But for Hindus, Diwali is the most important festival in India which is my favorite festival! And I love to decorate my house and love collecting different show pieces, ornaments, earthen toys for Pooja place, different types of lights to decorate each and every room! I have a vast collection of all these things!

I love the color purple so this card makes me smile!! As for what I collect, I try my best not to collect anything but somehow my house has filled up with an awful lot of owl decorations, lol! My two little girls and I love owls and we have stuffed toy owls, owl wall decor, ceramic owls, a carved wooden owl, little felt ornament owls, owl blankets and sheets, owl towels, owl lunchboxes and sippy cups, and owl clothing (of course).

Well talk about sweetness – there is literally an ice cream cone on your card that’s full of it! :) Such an adorable creation, Taunya. I actually used to have a HUGE button collection. I got rid of it a few years before I started my stamping addiction and now I regret it (think of all the cool things I could have done with those lovely buttons). Thank you SO much for sharing your card at the Hop to Stop!

    Nancy Richards says:

Your card is beautiful! I love the shade of purple you chose. One thing that I love and collect (besides art supplies) are loose gemstones. I intend to get them mounted when my kids are grown. I have 10 kids and therefore will not have any family treasures to leave them, so maybe these will do :) Thanks for sharing your card!
