We were asked to case Mynn’s  card – here it is:

Paper Sweeties SpotlightSnowmanCard card Mynn

For My card I did the following:

I ripped cardstock and sponged it with bordering blue ink to create my snowy background!! A scrap of patterned paper made my snowy sky and I added 4 snowflake brads from Making Memories! I used an old SU! Christmas set called A Merry Season! I watercolored by squoosing my inkpads so that ink got on the lid and then I used a wet paintbrush to pick up the ink!! The colors I used were all by Stampin’Up – Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Bordering Blue, and Pumpkin Pie. I also used my light gray colored zig real brush pen for the snowman!  I had a lot of fun doing it this way!! I fussy cut him out and mounted him to the card with foam tape!

So, even though it may be boiling hot where you are – has been super hot here – come visit the Christmas card challenge that helps you get cards made all through the year!!

I often like to take the time to zoom in and really get a closer look at the work you put into your cards. I’m especially glad that I did that with this one as there are so many fine and fancy details! The ripped cardstock with inked edges creates a wonderful snowy ground for your fabulous winter scene. You are an embossing master and that along with your fantastic watercoloring skills really make the adorable snowman pop. Amazing job!!!
