Boy or Girl

For my card this time over at Simply Create Too – Challenge # 93: It’s a Special Occasion I made a duo of cards using old stamps (not sure of their names) from Stampin’ Up!

My card duo:

Ballet Blue paper and ink were used on the boy card!! Pretty in Pink paper and ink for the girl card!

Jute twine was used to hang the die cut tags and I used eyelets (remember those-LOL) on them!

And, YES, I did use a corrugator on the kraft paper strips!

And lastly, the grosgrain ribbon is from my bucket of ribbon scraps!!!

I am also linking this up to the following challenges:

Wow, lots of fun old techniques and old supplies. It’s cool to go back and revisit how we “used” to do things!

This is a great pair of cards to have on hand. Thanks for joining us for our Old School challenge at Cut it Up!

Love the reminder to use eyelets!! I have quite a few of them and haven’t used them in a LONG time. Your cute cards are perfect to have for the next new babies you get to help celebrate.

What a cute card duo! I love the subtlety of the ink stamped on matching paper! How fun that you used old techniques and products! I’ve never used a corrugator but I like the effect it creates.
