Welcome to Day 6 of the 12 Days of Doodlebug

I am so excited about this 12 day series that I am doing here on my blog – I LOVE DOODLEBUG and I have been a user and collector for the past 15 years!! Anything made by them delights and excites me – I love their bright, happy colors and incredibly cute icons and borders they make!! I thought doing this series would be a perfect way for me to lead up to and celebrate my birthday with you – There will be prizes – more on that at the end!!!

So, I know Easter was yesterday but I wanted to show these cute Treat Toppers I made!!

Please click on photos for a close up!!

I made them using this cool Avery Elle Die

I used this paper to diecut the treat topper and a trim from the Fancy Frills sticker sheet that matches the Easter Parade Collection

I used a 1″ strip of Pink Vellum (scraps) and layered the orange wavy trim on top – added a light purple flower brad!!

Then I put each person’s name on their treat topper with Teensy Type letter stickers – I used the Swimming Pool colored ones –

I love these letters because there are 3 different styles and sizes on one sheet – so cool!!

Then I used one staple and stapled the treat toppers onto bags of Easter candies!!

I hope you are seeing what amazing things you can do with Doodlebug Products!!

I have several Doodlebug Pinterest Boards – you can check them out here – and YES, my boards are mostly in alphabetic order – so go down to the D section in my page of boards!!

Alrighty – I mentioned prizes – YEP I sure did!!!

The Prizes I will be giving away are pictured here –

Do you want to go shopping ??? Duh, who wouldn’t???

In case you were wondering how to get your hands on some Doodlebug cuteness  – I wanted to mention that there are some on-line stores that I shop at to find Doodlebug Design items!

I shop at A Cherry on Top and Scrapbook.com and Paper Issues!

If you shop at A Cherry on Top and they asked who referred you – I would love it if you put my name down – you earn points for people referred to them!! I love this site because they get the NEW stuff FAST and then you can get it!!! **grin** So, I just ordered all the new Mini Doilies in all the Doodlebug colors!!! YEP – I am so excited!! I got 15% off my order – shipping too by using the code SPRING15 – that deal is good until TOMORROW April 7th!!!  And Paper Issues carries a lot of the smaller items of Doodlebug – they don’t carry a lot of 12 by 12 stuff!! They do package things up pretty and are fun to shop with!!!   I also wanted to add that Archivers Annex has a lot of exclusive kits of Doodlebug products go here to see them – Happy shopping!!!!

Hope you have a bright, sunny and beautiful day!!!

Taunya, you are such a creative and generous crafter! I love these little treat toppers. What a great die to have for all those special occasions. I often make treat bags and have to improvise, as I don’t have a die like that. It’s definitely going on my wish list. :) Got to go now and check out your Doodlebug boards on Pinterest.
