The 12 Kits of Occasions – February Guest Designer

At the beginning or February I was lucky and fortunate enough to win a Guest Designer spot on The 12 Kits of Occasions Blog!!

Super excited – the sweet and fabulous Sharron  (her blog is On Papillon Wings) sent me the kit and I had so much fun playing with it!!

I made 7 cards!! One of which is being featured on the 12 Kits blog today – here is the link for the Bye, Bye Birdie – February ’15 post!!

In this post I will start with the card featured over at the 12 Kits blog – I will then share 5 more cards I made, saving the 7th one for a post on Sunday that is also going to CAS(E) this Sketch!!

Here is my first card:

The Products were supplied by the Hostess Sharron!! Designer paper is Prima -“Free Spirit”, the diecuts, stamped images and embellishments are from various companies – if you have specific questions about something on one of my cards just leave me a comment and I will get back to you with an answer!!!

Alright, here goes with the rest of them  – Card # 2

Stenciling & Blending Challenges – Card 1

I am sneaking in again while my cute little girlies are sleeping!! At the end of this post there are two pics of some things we have done while my son and his wife have been gone!!

But for now here is my Stenciled & Blended card:

I used a stencil given to me by a friend and a Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze inkpad!! This was a fun guy card to do –

It is going to these two challenges:

# 1 One – Layer Simplicity ChallengeOLS13: You Blend! Since I blended, and sponged on the colors I think this fits!!!

# 2 Craft Stamper Magazine – Take It Make It Challenge: February (Stenciling) This card is ALL ABOUT the stenciling!!

So now for the pics I promised – we decorated doors for each of their parents!! Daddy’s office door and Mommy’s bedroom door! Here are pictures:

mom door

Mom door – it says “My Mom is Marvelous and Magnificent”

The m & m’s were cut out by the oldest granddaughter and I drew m’s on them and the two littlest ones had so much fun taping them on!!

Dad door – it says “Our Daddy is Dino – Mite”

The girls colored dinosaurs and we cut them out and then taped them all over daddy’s door!!!

So, we have been doing letter days since I have been here –

the first day was K for Miss K girlie- we made paper kangaroos with a pocket,

and then we did P for Papa – this day was super fun, we had a pizza picnic at the park,

then came B for Butlers – we made little books about bears for this day,

We had an N for Nana day – and we Had a Nana Night and all slept together in Nana’s room,

next was D for Daddy – and this was when we decorated his door,

and today is M day – that is when we added m & m’s to mom’s door!!

Tomorrow is L is for Miss L girlie, and then on Tuesday we will do S for Miss S girlie!!!

We have just been doing so many fun things together – love my girlies!!!!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit – I am really glad you did!!!

Simply Create Too: Challenge # 79 – Anything Goes

yellow happy mail sig

As I made this card I decided to use it to share with my Women’s group at Church!! I taught a lesson on “Having JOY” last Sunday!  As part of my lesson I stressed the importance of sharing JOY once you have it – and of course I told them they could do that by writing and sending Happy Mail!! There are approximately 40 women in the group so I made 42 each of 3 cards – This is the first one I am showing you, the other 2 will follow soon!!  I bet you are just dying with anticipation!!! hehe 😉

I so appreciate when you all stop by!! Leave me a little note so I know you were here!!

Have a Beautiful Day and send some Happy Mail if you can!!!

LOVE with a button

I am in Arizona with my grandbabies but here is a card I made before leaving:

I made it for the following challenges:

# 1 The Mixed Media Card Challenge Challenge # 8 {Love}

# 2 House of Cards Challenge February Challenge: LOVE

To make this card I used red and white squares sized 3/4″ – I embossed in white the letters – L, V, E on the red squares and then I stitched a red heart button on the white square!! Fun card to make and very easy!!!

Well, I need to be off to play with the girlies and I will be back really soon with another card I made before I left Utah!!

Thanks for being a loyal friend and follower!!

Love to you all and see you soon!!
