Red, Yellow, and Orange Treats

Hi – it’s me!  I had a quiet minute at the retreat so I decided to share yesterday’s treats with you!!

So, Red was the first color of the rainbow so I made a strawberry!

Strawberry made by putting fruit snacks into the corner of a sandwich bag and tying with green twine!

And here is how I packaged it:

This little tiny kraft sack is crazy cute!! Love it - I added a stamped strawberry and some twine to cute it up!!

And I wrote the note on the back of the bag:

Next came an Orange treat for after lunch  – It looked like this:

"Orange" you glad to know that I "carrots" for you!!

The containers came in a package of 10 from the dollar store in the wedding section!  I filled them with orange sixlets that I purchased at a Party store!!

Yellow (MY FAVORITE COLOR) was handed out after dinner :

This photo shows how cute and little the jar is - I fit 5 pieces of taffy in it!

I found adorable little jars at Hobby Lobby and filled them with yellow taffy!! So cute!

Here is the tag I put on the lid:

SO, there you go, Retreat Day 2 treat notes  in all their sweetness and cuteness!! They were all very graciously and thankfully received by my friends!!  Here is a pic of our group:

Can you figure out which one is me?  Need a hint – on the front row, with the gray shirt!

Happy Day to you all, and know that I am thinking of all my blog friends and wishing you a happy day!

Thanks for letting my share these things with you!!

Well, “orange” you amazing for creating all these fabulous treat bags for your friends; each one is so thoughtful, both in the packaging, the goodies they contain (yellow taffy…yumm!), and the time invested to add those special touches! Pretty and fabulous, my friend, just. like. YOU!! Mega hugs for being a gem not only with your real life friends, but those in blog-land, too. Your comments have sure added sunshine and sparkle to my days! Wish you lived closer: I’d make you a huge treat bag, filled with a bunch of decadent chocolate somethings…and it would be decorated with something so unique…a butterfly! Hahahah…I’m so predictable! Hugs~c
