I have been thinking about the purpose of my blog for a while now and I think I have come up with an adequate theme – I know this is just a tweak on another Pin going around on Pinterest that says –
“I just want to make Beautiful Things even if nobody cares”
I have been saying this phrase to myself for a while now because I love creating beautiful things. I have wondered if it mattered and if anyone did care but then I realized that there is a purpose to my making of these things – I make them for others to share with them how much I care!!
So things that I share here are my blog are ways that I have found to make beautiful things to show others I care! I hope that you will join me and explore avenues for you to show your love & care for others by making your own kind of beautiful things!!
I am so sad and sorry that I have not posted in such a very long time – but I am still here! I just got a little bit, ok I admit it, a lot involved with preparing for and actually enjoying the Holiday Season!!
Years ago I was a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and as such I taught classes out of my home once a month for my customers! Thoroughly loved it but then I got detoured a bit with child # 6 and volunteering at school and in the PTA so I quit. I have taught 2 or 3 classes since then for church groups but nothing like what I am about to do this month! I am so excited to be teaching 2 nights of a Doodlebug Card class and the best part for me is that both nights are completely booked up, full! So I just wanted to share the 4 cards we will be making at this class – a teaser perhaps to the attendees and maybe just ideas to fuel your own creativity!!
Here are pics of the 4 cards we will make:
Used parts of the Take Note Collection to craft this card!
This card also made using the Take Note collection from Doodlebug Design!
This lovely card was made using the adorable Fruit Stand collection also by Doodlebug Design!
This is my favorite card for this class – made using a doily and some mini doodle-pops from last years Valentine line of Doodlebug Products!! Love how it turned out!!
Thanks for stopping by and saying hi! I love when you leave comments – so go ahead and let me know what you think!!
