You’ve had a Birthday – Shout Hooray!!

I love birthdays!  I love having them, celebrating them and just helping the people I love enjoy their day!! One of the ways I do this is by sending out birthday cards.  This has become really meaningful for me – since as I do this I just feel so grateful for  knowing and loving the person I am wishing a happy birthday to!!  I feel that everyone should feel like they are a gift and I love the pleasure I get from celebrating those I love!! Here are a couple of birthday cards I have made in the last few months.  I get such a kick out of making handmade birthday cards and then matching them up with someone I care for!!

Card # 1

I am quite pleased with how this little boy birthday card turned out - love the pennants! The paper and stickers are from 3 Bugs in a Rug.

Card # 2

This card came about because of the Happy Birthday sentiment I already had stamped - I used paper to match the colors and found circles to be the perfect accent for the banner!

I am looking forward to sharing some special cards made with the Doodlebug Create-A-Card system soon!  I have made 5 or 6 of them now and I can’t wait to take photos of them and share.  I hope as you look ahead in the coming week you will pick someone and surprise them with a birthday wish in their mailbox!! What could be more fun!  Do it today – I guarantee you won’t regret it!!

Kraft”y” Gift Wrap Class Projects for Super Saturday

I know,  I am jumping the gun here a little, but I was asked to teach a Christmas Papercrafting class at our Ward’s Super Saturday in November.  So therefore I had to come up with the ideas now so that people could sign up to make them!! I will share just this picture of the packages from the class.  And I will share later (closer to Christmas) the how – to’s and supplies used to make each one along with more pictures.  Hope you enjoy giving these a look and that it doesn’t make your heart pound to think how quickly Christmas seems to come each year!!!  Have a fabulous day!!
