You Are My Sunshine

One day I was glancing through my Doodlebug supply stash and got caught up on how totally cute this tree and sunshine stickers were.  I decided to make a wall hanging with it to remind me of all the Sunshines in my life!! I used supplies from Doodlebug’s Mother Nature collection!  The blue background paper with clouds was perfect and then I added dirt by tearing brown paper and sponging on the edges. I added details with stickers from that same collection of a squirrel, a bird, and some flowers.  On the leaves on the tree I wrote with an extra fine Sharpie the names of the Sunshines in my life!! If you click on the photo it gets bigger so you can see more of the details!!

Here is a photo of how my wall hanging turned out!!

I cut the whole design out to fit on the top of an acrylic 8 by 10 boxed frame I had used previously for something else!! It hangs in my craft room and reminds me to look for the “Sunshine” in my life!! Hopefully you have something, and if you don’t maybe you could create something to hang somewhere that is a counting of the blessings or “sunshines” in your life!!

Hope you have a SUNSHINEY Day!!

Well, there you go –the last 5 Takes using the From Me to You page of the Sunny Side Collection by Pebbles, Inc.  Yes, I added some items in there but most of them can be found at our local craft stores.  But all these ideas were given as a jump off point for your creativity.  Tweak this here, and add this here, leave this off here and etc.  I just want there to be other people out in the world finding CUTE ways to share love and kindness with others!

Giveaway Alert!!

Leave me some love and let me know what you think!!!  I will be choosing a random commenter/follower to win one of each of these projects that I made – Takes # 11 to 15.  That lucky person will receive all 5 of the fun projects I made for this post!!

Also, since I am celebrating being a dot com I want to offer the prize mentioned above and a $20 gift certificate to a store of your choice to the winner!  The store choice must be within my ability to get a gift certificate to!! :)

I am trying to increase my readership so there are more than one ways you can win:

– the first way is to leave me a comment ( that’s one entry)

-the second way is to refer someone to visit my blog (when they visit and mention that you referred them that’s another entry for you and one entry for them)

– the third way is to pin one of these images on Pinterest and link the pin’s url in a comment saying you did ( that’s the final way you can enter)

I will leave this contest open until Friday, September 13th at 5:00 pm (MST)  and then I will post the winner the next morning (Sat, Sept 14th)!!

Thanks for visiting and have an amazing day!!
